Some of the most important work being done in communities is the work that is being done by Food Banks of all sizes. Communities to Success has a robust foodbank module that not only provides the depth needed for food banks – logging visits and donations, tracking inventory, running reports for their own internal purposes and the purposes of larger entities that they report to, but it also does so with the ease of use needed for the often short-staffed volunteer-heavy food bank workers.
Just like how the core module of Communities to Success utilized the experience and needs of actual social workers in our design and development, our Food Bank module was also designed and created in close collaboration with food bank workers, administrators, and even larger community action agencies that they associate with. In short, they helped us design the system the job needs.
